Surus & Cornacchia

The little elephant Surus will travel on foot, from Syria to Italy, along the shores of the Mediterranean, and will become a strong and courageous soldier in Hannibal’s army. The dog Cornacchia, on the other hand, has a dream and a great friend: Caravaggio, a somewhat strange painter who has disappeared. The little juggling dog will search for him for a long time, meeting quirky knights and curious scientists along the way.

These are the themes that come to life in the illustrated storybook, published by Iemme Edizioni and set to be released on May 22nd: “Surus the Little Elephant, Cornacchia the Juggling Dog”. The work is a socio-educational project aimed at combating educational poverty. It’s a project within a project, born within the framework of Arteteca Ludoteche Museali (Museum Play Libraries).

Moreover, the book was presented at various events, including a live reading and a playful workshop at the Feltrinelli bookstore in Genoa, in Berlin, Roma, Palermo and in Naples.
